WHAT WE DO

The Alberta Occupational Safety Auditors Association is a volunteer run organization dedicated to the development and professional practice of health and safety auditing.  The association is run by volunteers and is a registered non-profit society in Alberta.

GOAL

MISSION

OBJECTIVE

It is our goal to become the voice of the health and safety auditing profession, with membership from across the province and representing all industries.

Our mission is to enhance the practice of safety auditing by creating a forum to advance ideas, discuss procedures and facilitate member interaction.

The Association's primary objective is to promote the health and safety auditing profession, not only in Alberta, but across Canada.

The Association will provide its members with ongoing professional development and a meeting place to focus on the auditing discipline.

All members are required to sign and abide by the AOSAA Code of Ethics.

WORKSHOPS

AOSAA runs two regular workshops each year, in January and February and June.

Your paid membership gives you admittance to our regular workshops for free - lunch and

refreshments are included. The cost of the workshop and your lunch is included in your annual membership fee.

Guests are welcome to attend a workshop at a cost of $50 per guest.  This can be used toward the annual membership fee if the guest decides to join.

Safety is a cheap and effective insurance policy. Like all policies it

must be reviewed and updated to be current and effective.
